This weekend Ty came up for a visit so we decided to head to Seattle for a day. Lucky for us, the Seattle Comic Convention was happening, so we decided to shell out the cash and check it out (actually, Dan had this trip planned weeks in advance - he's a comic fanatic). So we get there and I'm thinking, "What did I get myself into?" Picture this: regular folks like you and me, all dressed up as Star Trek characters and miscellaneous comic book heroes and
villains. It was like something you would see during the "crazy" segment on the nightly news.
Well, much fun was had by all, especially Nicolas, who got to shoot down some Star Wars bad guys. As for me, my favorite part was lunch at the Cheesecake Factory after it was all said and done!
