Welcome, baby! Our newest little boy is finally here! Oliver Maxwell Daniel Mow made his debut on June 12, 2008 at 6:13 p.m. He was 9 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long! 
His arrival was pretty amazing. I went into labor at 2:30 p.m. with mild contractions that quickly intensified. By 2:45 p.m. I had to call Dan and tell him to come home - it was time to go to the hospital! We left Nicolas and Gavin at home with our trusted neighbor and we were off. We got to the hospital just before 4:00 p.m. and I was able to get my epidural a little before 5:00. Sweet relief!! Oliver came a short while later - a big, sweet, healthy boy.
Life with Oliver at home has been fun so far. Nicolas and Gavin are both enjoying their new little brother. Nicolas is very protective of him and loves to hold him. Nicolas' nickname for Oliver is "hot ribs." One day he said, "Mom, Oliver feels hot like hot ribs." And the name stuck! Gavin is very affectionate and loves to give his new baby kisses. It is so fun to watch all of them interact!
