Outside Funtime

This last week has brought some lovely weather to the Pacific Northwest. Well, if lovely only counts for an hour. As soon as the sun comes out I rush everyone outside, because I know it won't last long! It's been in the mid-40s...not too warm, but warm enough for some outside playtime.

Nicolas has been "Jump Roping for Heart" at school to promote exercise and heart health. He was so excited about it we had to rush out and buy him his own light-up jump rope. He has been outside every afternoon since then, jumping for his heart!

Gavin is finally learning what "don't go into the street" means, and, as with any 2-year-old, loves to test his boundries. He has also become very loud lately. He can't stand it if Oliver starts to fall asleep in the car, so does anything he can (which usually includes yelling) to wake him up. Not only that, he's also taken to shouting his ABCs at bedtime to help him fall asleep. He is a kid that definitely gets noticed!

Oliver is doing more and more these days. He has two teeth on the bottom, and is currently sprouting THREE new ones up top. That makes for some interrupted nap times and lots of drooling. Still a cutie!
